What is the GED®?
The GED® (General Educational Development) is an internationally recognised high school equivalency credential, registered at NQF Level 4.
SAQA has evaluated the GED® and found the National Senior Certificate as its closest comparable qualification. Some institutions may request a SAQA verification letter during admission. We can assist with the application process.
GED® Subjects
The GED® exam covers four subject areas. Our curriculum is designed to help you master each one with confidence.
Basic maths, geometry, algebra, graphs, and functions. Focus on problem-solving and quantitative reasoning skills needed for real-world applications.
Reading comprehension, grammar, essay writing, and critical analysis of literary and informational texts.
Life science, physical science, and earth/space science. Emphasis on scientific reasoning, interpreting data, and understanding experiments.
History, civics, geography, and economics. Focus on critical thinking, analysing primary sources, and understanding civic principles.
